Meticulously handcrafted from 322 individual pieces, this artwork features a carefully selected blend of rosa morada, sycamore, walnut, ebiara, black limba, spalted hackberry, ebony, yellowheart, and holly. Each piece was individually cut on a scroll saw, then shaped and contoured by hand using various sanding techniques to create depth, movement, and lifelike detail.
No CNC machines, lasers, stains, paints, or dyes were used in the creation of this piece. Every color you see comes naturally from the wood itself, highlighting the beauty and character of each species.
Measuring approximately 32.5” x 17.5”, this piece arrives ready to display with a hanger installed on the back.

Tawny Owl in Flight Intarsia Wood Art Decor
I use a clear satin varnish that offers UV protection for a protective coating that protects against fading; however it is the nature of wood to change color over time. It's best to keep any wood product out of direct sunlight to preserve the colors longer.
