"Hot Lips Plant" is made from a pattern by Jim Merrow.
It consists of 42 pieces cut from bloodwood, lignum vitae, cherry, walnut, Peruvian walnut, & aspen. Mounted on a lived edge slab.
Measures approx 11" x 23" and has a hanger on the back.

I use a clear satin varnish that offers UV protection for a protective coating that protects against fading; however it is the nature of wood to change color over time. It's best to keep any wood product out of direct sunlight to preserve the colors longer.
