This intarsia camper is made from a pattern by Andrew Dotzel.
"Happy Little Camper" consists of 30 pieces cut from spalted hackberry, canarywood, walnut, wenge, padauk, aspen, cherry, & bloodwood. Windows are made with plexiglass and "Welcome" sign is woodburned.
Measures 10.25" x 6" and has a hanger on the back.

This is a great piece art for anyone who enjoys camping.
I use a clear satin varnish that offers UV protection for a protective coating that protects against fading; however it is the nature of wood to change color over time. It's best to keep any wood product out of direct sunlight to preserve the colors longer.
