A beautiful expression of faith, hope, and renewal, Faith & Blossoms features a handcrafted wooden cross surrounded by elegant lilies set against a radiant sunburst background. The natural contrast of the woods creates warmth, depth, and dimension while symbolizing the light and beauty that faith brings into our lives.
This piece is made from 205 individually cut pieces of spalted tamarind, Bolivian rosewood, maple, mahogany, cherry, bloodwood, red cedar, aspen, lignum vitae, movingui, purpleheart, and walnut. Every piece was cut by hand on a scroll saw, individually shaped and sanded to create depth and realism, then carefully assembled and finished with a clear protective finish.
No stains, paints, or dyes were used—only the natural colors and grain patterns of the wood.

Faith & Blossoms Intarsia Wood Art Decor - An Original Design
I use a clear satin varnish that offers UV protection for a protective coating that protects against fading; however it is the nature of wood to change color over time. It's best to keep any wood product out of direct sunlight to preserve the colors longer.
